James Homich attended and testified against the AMCO Development Project at the magistrate hearing held on the matter on March 11, 2024. Such participation demonstrates his commitment to opposing overdevelopment. He was one of only three residents that participated in the hearing opposing the development. The City also opposed the development at the hearing in support of a majority of council. The magistrate's ruling favored the developer which was not a surprise given her background and selection. Although the magistrate's ruling was non-binding and a part of a dispute resolution process, the City adopted the ruling in essence at a meeting on June 18, 2024.
